plastic Bags questions 3

1. Do you agree with this new law? Why or why not?
I think its  good way to start but the mexican goverment should be aware that this will affect companies and economy. It's a shme that they have to do this by the force with fines and penalization because Mexican people have not yet been educated to recycle. but this is a good start and hopefully it would be a great teaching for the new generations
2. What has been done so far?
El Partivo verde has allready made the decision of this new law, in within a year all supermarket and groserystores will be used biodegradable bags
3. What needs to be done to enforce such a law?
what it needs to be done is to make this plastic bags problem public so people can be aware of what is happening and some even could enforce the movement from de goverment
4. What campaigns would you suggest?
I would suggest that new biodegradable companies were made here in mexico the same or almost the same number of biodegradable companies or recycling compnies were put in mexico. i would make this move for the banning of the plastic bags. then put all of the companies to work that way economy doesnt get to affected. I would make very clear to all of the people the important tht this move is, and to inspire them to start recycling so that way people could start recycling and make a new education in mexico.

plastic Bags questions 2

a. What are some of the potential benefits of charging fees for and/or banning plastic bags?
some of the benfits that a fee is puted is that, this could help alot with this fight against the plastic bags, plastic bags could be recycled and there would be less contamination less turtules getting killed, and hopefully other countries could see what its been made and they could decide to do the same thing in their country. and other reason this could be a good thing is that people could be mor aware of their usage of plastic bags.
b. What are some of the potential drawbacks of such programs?
the main drawback is that people may not be so happy of chargeing them for a plastic bag. this people oviously dont know how those simple plastic bags are killing our planet and the peopel living in it. they could refuse to pay the fee.
c. Which benefits and drawbacks seem the most compelling? Why?
the greatest benefits are that these fee could be a stike for the fight for recycling plastic bags, and people can be more aware of how are they affecting. But the main draw back is that many peopele dont have enough to pay for this fee, and they can take it in another way.
d. Would you support a local law charging fees for (or banning) plastic bags? Why or why not?
a couple of days before I would have said no, that it is just another stupid fee from the goverment, but now I see how mouch damage this silpe plastic bags have on the planet, now i can support the chargeing of a fee for the plastic bags
